About the event

Are you about to roll your eyes at the fact that yet another sloppy Valentine’s Day concert is happening? If so, stop right there, and read on... This LGBT History Month, join vocal & period instrument ensemble ‘Les Bougies Baroques’ (conducted by its founder & artistic director Ian Peter Bugeja) as they team up with the National Gallery to challenge & deconstruct the meaning of everything heteronormative, through the medium of baroque music – bringing the LGBT undercurrents present within the National Gallery’s permanent collection to the forefront by highlighting the fluid nature of love, sexuality, and gender.
